OPERATIONS PLAN
Strategies and procedures are initiated in
all areas of golf course operations:
• Establish marketing plans to develop programs which will
increase play and promote golf outings and functions at your course
• Implement financial
management controls to increase reporting accuracy
• Recruit highly qualified
personnel, implementing detailed training program to instruct personnel in
Buffalo Golf Group policy and procedures
• Establish an aggressive
maintenance program to consistently upgrade the condition of the course
Financial Management:
The PGA Professional is responsible for the accounting system at the facility.
Reports are reviewed by the firm of Rex Lemert, PA. This firm will also prepare
the financial statements. Accountant Arthur Geary will provide bookkeeping on
site, to include weekly sales reports, payroll, and timely payment of invoices
Accounting procedures exists for a number of reasons, several of which are
evident at the course site. The following reports will be done on site:
Pro Shop 7-Day Sales Report - weekly and at month's end
Food & Beverage 7-Day Sales Report - weekly and at month's end
Invoice Transmittals - weekly and at month's end
Petty Cash Report - weekly
Consolidated Time Sheet - every two weeks
Inventories - Monthly
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable - monthly
Marketing and Promotions: Buffalo Golf Group will formulate a comprehensive marketing plan
to promote your Golf Course. This marketing plan will include an aggressive
community outreach program, organization of corporate outings and tournament,
benefit tournaments, and extensive junior golf program, and the use of
"free" media exposure.
Golf Course Maintenance:
We recognize that the golf course itself is the most important resource. Golf
course maintenance is viewed as a planned, controlled investment in the club's
primary profit center. The emphasis is on Total Quality Management, a concepts
which means that details that are important to golfers must be attended to on a
daily basis. Simultaneously, the maintenance program must be pushing the
overall golf course to higher levels of quality year-by-year. Our standards,
coupled with regular evaluations and advice from the corporate turf specialist
are focused on this "total quality" objective.
Employee Training and Customer Service: Buffalo Golf Group is committed to providing the finest service
in the golf management industry. Training programs for personnel will be
customized for Peoria Ridge Golf Course, but will strive to ensure that all
customers are greeted cordially upon arrival, and will be waited on in a
friendly, efficient manner.
Customers
are our most important feedback source. Customer opinion is very important, and
will be solicited on a daily basis. Our staff will pay attention to details,
and provide outstanding service, behaving honestly and striving to build a
relationship with our customers.
